When I wake up in the morning, I go straight for the blender. My morning smoothie gives me energy and gets my digestion going with plenty of plant protein, healthy fat and complex carbohydrates that slowly release energy into my bloodstream throughout the day.
- 2 Tablespoon Coconut oil
- Pineapple / Papaya (frozen)
- 2 Tablespoon seeds (flax, chia, sunflower or pumpkin)
- 1 chunk Raw Ginger
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- Leafy Greens
Peel the dark part of the orange peel off and leave the soft white portion. Then chop it up and place it on the blades of the blender so that the blending process can begin smoothly. Then the banana, then the oil, then everything else. Once the blender has blended up the banana and the orange, it will have some speed going and can power through the seeds etc.
