Dry Roasted Chickpeas

Dry roasted chickpeas make an awesome snack and the flavor of chickpeas is flexible enough to carry a wide range of spice combinations.


Mix all the ingredients and then place on a sheet pan in the oven.

I prefer to use premade spice mixes rather then attempting to get the spice blend perfect by hand.  It seems to come out more consistently when I use something like Zataraian’s or Old Bay.
